The Hainstock Gallery presents the work of professional artist Bob Hainstock, a printmaker, painter and writer, as well as his wife, Judy, a ceramic artist and quilter. The gallery also shows work from time to time, of family spread across Canada — daughter, Meg, and husband, Stephen Petersen, are biologists, printmakers and writers living on the shores of Lake Manitoba. Bob’s twin brother, Clay, is a painter now living in the Okanagan Valley, B.C.

Bob and Judy’s studio/gallery is located on the edge of Nova Scotia's unique North Mountain -- that 500-foot high, northern barrier ridge that stands between the powerful Bay of Fundy and the beautiful Annapolis Valley.  Their work is most often about threatened landscape and the weakening threads and containers of rural culture. The work has been represented in galleries and specialty shops across North America.

The gallery ships artwork worldwide. Please contact us with inquiries and we’ll respond quickly with all inclusive price estimates for secure delivery. The gallery accepts payment only through credit and debit cards, or e-transfer.
